The patient is a 43-year-old female with a history of systemic sclerosis.

 

There is radiotracer within the region of the distal esophagus on images acquired up to 60 minutes. This may either represent residual acitivity in the esophagus or reflux.

At 60 minutes, there was 51.2% clearance. The T-1/2 was calculated to be 61.5 minutes.

1. Normal gastric emptying.

2. Activity noted in the region of the distal esophagus may either represent food retained in the esophagus or reflux of gastric content.
