The patient is a 75-year-old female with hypertension,
osteoarthritis, and history of coma, now presenting with atypical chest pain.
Perfusion With Stress: Severe decrease in tracer uptake in the proximal
inferolateral wall. Normal tracer uptake in the remainder of the left
ventricular myocardium.
Perfusion At Rest: Unchanged from perfusion with stress.
1. Abnormal study demonstrating a severe fixed perfusion defect in the
proximal inferolateral wall, consistent with an infarct in the left circumflex
territory. This study demonstrates no reversible perfusion defects that would be
consistent with stress induced ischemia.
2. The left ventricle is of normal size and demonstrates preserved function
with an estimated ejection fraction of greater than 65%.
