Findings
Two foci of increased tracer uptake surrounding a photopenic region noted in the left scapula.
Conclusion
Two foci of increased tracer uptake in the left scapula are suspicious for metastatic disease.
Addendum
Surgical biopsy and pathologic evaluation of the lesions showed metastatic carcinoma consistent with thyroid primary.
